Today instead of going to a diner for breakfast, we checked out Sono Market Place which just opened this weekend.  Sono Market Place is an indoor market with over 45 artists, crafts people, clothing, gifts and food booths in one place.  It’s a lot of fun and there’s some really good food to try there.  Today we not only met some new people, we also got to see  some old friends too!

Here are some of my favorites…

Torn Edges is owned by our friends Michael Heintz and Nan Wasson.  They sell awesome photos that Michael takes and prints himself. They kind of even look like paintings.  There are lots of food pictures  because Mr. Heintz is a professional food photographer!

Prima Dolce are the makers of Bella’s Berries — Awesome jams and fruit compotes that are so good, they were even on Oprah’s O List!  I tried some, and I can see why!

They sell awesome meat that they grow on their own farm in Bethlehem CT.  Kenny and Dana Assard are really nice and we bought some homemade Italian Sausage that we will try soon!

Connecticut Cookie Company – www.ctcoco.com and on facebook

I will have to come back to try their cookies, cause they look delicious! I met Andrea and her daughter who were very nice.  They not only sell cookies, but also amazing paintings of New York, Philadelphia and Venice scenes that are painted by the dad!

Wise Guys Pizza makes great pizza, so good, that I had to go back for seconds!

While I was eating pizza with mom, dad had fish & chips from Gotta Nibble – they were really good, not too greasy and very light — the chipotle sauce was very interesting!

Chocopologie has a place in South Norwalk that I usually go to when my grandma comes to visit – they make the best chocolates!  Today I tried their Salted Caramel Chocolate Cake — Sweeeeet AND Salty!

Sunday Diners readers know how much WE LOVE WAVE HILL BREADS and especially Margaret Sapir! — so we were really happy to see them be part of the Market Place!

There are SO many new places to try, we are going to come back very soon especially to have breakfast with our new friends from Festivities The Eatery…

Hope we see you all soon!
